“Recently, my son’s school called me in for a meeting. When this had happened before, I’d arrive at the school but would barely be able to communicate without a translator — even when the front desk staff asked my name. This time, when l arrived at the school, I was able to tell the staff that I was there for a meeting for my son, and could respond to questions about my name, my son’s grade, and my son’s teacher. While I understand much more than I did before taking classes, I wants to continue classes next semester to be able to speak even more.”

Our English Language Learner (ELL) classes are designed for non-native English speakers and cover speaking, reading, writing, and listening. With six levels available—from Beginner 1 to Advanced 2—you can find the perfect fit for your needs.
Taught by dedicated volunteer teachers, classes are held online via Zoom on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 to 7:30 pm, offering a convenient and accessible way to learn.
