Conexión Américas welcomes the 2013 – 2014 Board of Directors, which includes two new members: Carrington Fox and Shirley Guerrero. The Board will be led this year by new Board President, Stephen Zralek and Vice President Gini Pupo-Walker.
We welcome each Board Member and heartily acknowledge their dedication, support and hard work on behalf of Latino families in Middle Tennessee.
New Board Members
Carrington Fox is the food writer for Nashville Scene. In addition to her weekly column, she has contributed to local and national publications, including NFocus, The Tennessean, Nashville Banner, Southern Living, Food Network, Culture and Esquire.com. She has appeared on Throwdown! With Bobby Flay, Martha Stewart’s radio program. Carrington is a graduate of Princeton University and holds an MBA from Vanderbilt University. Carrington and her husband David, both fifth-generation Nashvillians, have three young sons.
Shirley Guerrero is a former preschool and elementary school teacher in Costa Rica and the United States, teaching in a Montessori, Spanish immersion and developing Spanish curriculum. A resident of Brentwood since 2008, Shirley is a community volunteer, a full-time stay-at-home mother, Independent Lead Stylist for Stella & Dot. She and husband Giancarlo Guerrero, the Nashville Symphony Maestro, are the parents of two daughters, ages 13 and 11.
