The Power of Partnership
A shining example of successful family engagement is the collaboration between the Nashville Public Library and Conexión Américas. This partnership, through the program “Parents as Partners” or “Padres Comprometidos,” has empowered Latino families by providing them with the tools and knowledge to navigate the school system. Workshops conducted in Spanish, both in person and virtually, cater to parents with children in elementary through high school, strengthening their role in their children’s education.
