Our annual Cafecito, “A Cup of Coffee for Conexión Américas,” brings together more than 600 business, civic and elected leaders to learn about and support our work. This year, the spotlight will be on the scholars in our Escalera: Steps to Success program, which helps first generation immigrant students achieve their dreams of higher education.

Each year, more than 6,000 Latinos and other immigrants in Middle Tennessee turn to Conexión Américas for assistance in achieving their American dream: buying a home, starting a small business, filing a tax return, learning English, supporting their children’s school success and path to college, and becoming integral part of Nashville’s social, economic and cultural vitality.
